Application developers. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE an interest and ability to provide programming support for internal and external web based system applications. Candidates will be responsible for updating and maintaining back-end databases and front-end interface elements (HTML). Applicant will be able to develop interactive Flash based elements (ActionScript) which tie to back databases and server components. Experience with digital audio and streaming media technologies are a plus.
One third of the workload will involve providing modifications, fixes and upgrades to the existing systems and applications. The remainder of the work will be to develop new application systems.
In addition to programming responsibilities, the candidate will resolve issues, review problem reports, help test new releases for product usability and supportability. Also, ensure that user and support documentation is accurate and complete, and identify and manage any modification requirements when new releases of products are made available.
Skills & Requirements
Candidates should be fluent in the following:
Languages: SQL, PL-SQL, HTML, ASP, XML, XHTML, DHTML, ASP.NET, PHP, Carbon/Cocoa (a plus), VBScript, JavaScript, Macromedia Flash (ActionScript), UML, VisualBasic, COM
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Oracle
Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 95/98/Advanced Server 2000, UNIX, OSX
Software: VisualStudio/VisualStudio.net, Microsoft Access/Office, Macromedia Dreamweaver
