TransMedia to Unveil Glide Effortless: Next Generation Interactive Portable Desktop To The Press At The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Time Warner Center New York City on October 17th at 10AM

• Glide Effortless is a portable desktop for consumers and business users with integrated file management, file sharing, real-time communication and ecommerce capabilities.
• Glide Effortless is designed to be device and network neutral enabling users to access a standard user interface through a PC, cell phone, PDA and cable set- top box.
• Glide Effortless is entirely browser based and designed to work on virtually all platforms. No software installation or configuration is required for the end user.
TransMedia will also be unveiling Glide Shops with its patent pending Drop & ShopTM. All Glide Shops feature drag and drop shopping, integrated communication, product information sharing, contact management and community building tools.
TransMedia will be announcing a number of Glide Shops including the Glide Music Shop: The music industry’s first interactive music store with integrated video, audio and text conferencing, ecommerce enabled streaming preview sharing, contact management, community building tools and a new solution to protect digital media content.
