Charles J. Hausman, Anti-Piracy Counsel for the RIAA, Joins the Board of
Directors of TransMedia

TransMedia, the innovation leader in online media content and information management technology, announces that Charles J. Hausman, Anti-Piracy Counsel for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Hausman's expertise regarding copyright ownership and sound recording piracy, and the distribution of media content on the Internet, will be extremely valuable to TransMedia and its customers.

Prior to becoming Anti-Piracy Counsel for the RIAA, Mr. Hausman represented a number of recording artists and record labels including Skunk Records. Mr. Hausman became in-house counsel to the RIAA in 1999 and during his tenure he has worked on many significant cases, including the high profile Napster case. Federal Judge Marilyn Hall Patel cited a study done by Mr. Hausman in her appellate decision. Mr. Hausman graduated Tulane University Business School with a major in Finance and accounting. In 1996 He graduated Southwestern School of Law.
